Eran Megiddo has been with the Microsoft Office team for over 10 years and is currently the Director of Program Management Analytical and Presentation Services. He is responsible for the overall product strategy and leading the program management teams for Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Data Experience (BI), Graphics, and Visualizations in Office. Previously, Eran was Group Manager for the Excel, Excel Services, and BI engineering teams, held various Principal Group Program Manager positions in Office, and helped envision and drive the overall Web and services strategy for Office and the overall Microsoft BI product strategy.
Before joining Microsoft, Eran co-founded Maximal Innovative Intelligence, which developed data visualization and exploration tools that were later sold to Microsoft and released as Microsoft Data Analyzer.
