Alberto Ferrari is a business intelligence consultant whose interests lie in two main areas: BI development life cycle methodologies and self-service BI. His current focus is on using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) in the banking, manufacturing, and statistical sectors.
Alberto has spoken at international conferences such as Microsoft TechEd, the Microsoft BI Conference, and PASS Summit. He also co-authored “Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services: The BISM Tabular Model” (2012) and "Expert Cube Development with SSAS 2008" (2009) with Marco Russo and Chris Webb and "Microsoft PowerPivot for Excel 2010: Give Your Data Meaning" (2010) with Marco Russo.
