Sandy Rivas is a Program Manager for Power View in the SQL Server Business Intelligence / Visual Analytics team at Microsoft. A 14+ year Microsoft veteran, Sandy has helped to ship 6 versions of Microsoft Office, working closely with a wide variety of Office products such as Access, Excel and SharePoint to name a few. Her primary focus was on driving globalization and world-readiness into the Office products. Her real-world use of Excel, PowerPivot and Power View for reporting product statistics division wide, is what fueled her passion for business intelligence and data visualization, driving her to become a Program Manager for Power View.
