Who can submit an abstract?
The PASS Business Analytics Conference 2016 Call for Speakers is open to anyone interested in presenting a 60-minute session across any combination of skill levels and tracks.
Please note: If you are co-presenting and that session is selected, that role counts toward the session abstract submission limit.
What is the maximum number of abstracts I can submit?
You may submit abstracts for up to five general 60-minute sessions.
When is the abstract submission deadline?
All abstracts must be submitted no later than 9:00 PM PDT on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.
How do I submit an abstract?
- Use your PASS membership account, or register for one now.
- Review the Definitions.
- Fill out your Personal Details before submitting any abstracts.
- Read and digitally sign the Speaker Terms before submitting any abstracts.
- Submit your abstracts.
- You may view, edit, or delete abstract submissions until the deadline: 9:00 PM PDT on Wednesday, July 29, 2015
On the Personal Details page, can I update previously entered speaking history?
If you need to edit any of your previous speaking history, which has already been created, you will need to create a new version and delete the old one.

What criteria does the PASS Program Committee use to review abstracts?
During the abstract review, the PASS Program Committee keeps the following questions in mind:
- How well is the abstract written (grammar, detail, potential audience)?
- Do the abstract and title align?
- How do the goals, session level, and prerequisites align?
- How well do the abstract and goals align?
- How interesting will the session be to attendees?
When will I find out if I have been accepted to speak?
The abstract review period runs approximately 8-10 weeks, and speakers will be notified of their selection no later than end of October.

If you are selected as a speaker, but have already paid your registration fee, you will be refunded the full amount of registration paid.
